summer lovin'

Hahaha song titles.  have yaself some cliche

Woo I started working on the Sweet Summer Rays shawl as part of my very first KAL.  To be honest, I can totally handle a more complicated pattern, but I like it anyways and I really want a nice shawl in this colour.


This is some of the fabled Wollmeise! It's the sock yarn, I think the "pure" is supposed to be better?  Anyway, this one has some great stitch definition, not particularly soft but giving me a lovely spongey fabric so far.

    Ah I love the color! That particular shade is one of my personal favorites too. It does have fantastic stitch definition. This is going to look great on you!

    Great colour. I have a stunning skein of Wollmeise that I still haven't decided what to do with - it feels a little indulgent for socks :D

    The shawl is looking good! I like participating in group projects. It's areally neat way to get to meet new crafters and share your work.

    Gorgeous colour. I've had Wollemeise Twin for socks - it's not the softest, even after repeated washings but the colour is awesome, doesn't fade and the socks are very durable. And what a lovely shade you've picked!!

    Ooo, I *love* that yarn! I like the pattern too, and in the photos where it is stretched out, I couldn't help being reminded of the Batman logo ~_^
